2021 Oklahoma Literacy Learner Awards

There will be four awards given to our adult Learners-of-the-Year.

Two awards will be for learners enrolled in a literacy class.

Two awards will be given for learners enrolled in an English as a Second Language or Citizenship instruction.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Elisha Oliver

E. Oliver

Dr. Elisha Oliver is an anthropologist, author, and professor. She specializes in biocultural anthropology and digital storytelling. Elisha is a founding partner at Generation Paideia Research and Consulting and is a STEM mentor for a national organization. She serves as a guest host for an international crime podcast and serves as an anthropology community liaison for a non-profit organization in Oklahoma.

Celebrating Our Journey, Volume XII Book Signing 

Following the award ceremony, authors from Celebrating Our Journey, Volume 12, will be signing their individual stories. Please join us as we celebrate these amazing people.
