The Immigration Center at Western Oaks and the Immigrant Connection at May Avenue Wesleyan Church are announcing free English/Citizenship classes and free legal services to file N-400 applications.

Those interested in attaining citizenship will be able to attend an orientation an orientation in Oklahoma City.

Orientations will be held:

USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) has awarded a two-year grant of $225,000 to Oklahoma City University to prepare teachers of English as a Second Language (TESOL). These teachers will teach English and Civics to prospective citizens who already have their permanent resident cards. The classes will be taught for 8 weeks (two 2.5-hour sessions per week) at the Immigration Center at Western Oaks and at the Immigrant Connection at May Avenue Wesleyan Church. Students may choose which class they will attend.
