The Immigration Center at Western Oaks and the Immigrant Connection at May Avenue Wesleyan Church are announcing free English/Citizenship classes and free legal services to file N-400 applications.
Those interested in attaining citizenship will be able to attend an orientation an orientation in Oklahoma City on January 8 or January 12.

USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) has awarded a two-year grant of $225,000 to Oklahoma City University to prepare teachers of English as a Second Language (TESOL). These teachers will teach English and Civics to prospective citizens who already have their permanent resident cards. The classes will be taught for 8 weeks (two 2.5-hour sessions per week) at the Immigration Center at Western Oaks and at the Immigrant Connection at May Avenue Wesleyan Church. Students may choose which class they will attend. Classes begin the week of January 14.
