The Oklahoma Adult Education & Literacy Conference is seeking passionate and knowledgeable presenters for our 2025 event, themed "Navigating Success." This is a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise with educators, literacy professionals, and nonprofit leaders dedicated to empowering adult learners.

Based on feedback from our 2024 attendees, we are especially interested in presentations on:

Student Retention & Motivation – Strategies to keep adult learners engaged and committed
English as a Second Language (ESL) – Best practices for teaching and supporting English learners
Nonprofit Finances & Growth – Finding and writing grants, marketing programs, and expanding class offerings
Classroom Best Practices – What are other teachers doing in their classrooms to enhance learning?

Sharing Slides and/or Handouts: Breakout session attendees often request PPT slides and other handouts to be sent to them after the conference is over. To streamline this for presenters, we will host slideshows and handouts on the conference website. This page will go live on the evening of September 7. We will not provide handouts. If you need handouts for your workshop, please plan to bring them. If you would like to share your materials in this manner, please send pdfs of them to laura@okliteracy.org by Tuesday, September 2. We are not able to provide handouts.
